Dear Loved Ones,

Together, Paul & I  chose to start, 2010, by getting right with God. After prayerful consideration we decided it was time to  be  married. After one week of preparation  a Pastor friend of ours married us on Paul's ranch. I wish more family members could have joined us, but I knew many hearts were not ready to support us. I also did not want anyone to feel obligated or uncomfortable.

Next, Paul and I humbly ask for your forgiveness for the offenses & hurts that we may have caused to you. Our actions have influenced a lot of lives and even generations to come. We can't change the past. We can only hope to start anew in the hearts of our families and friends.

From " Awaken"   January 5, 2010   Pastor Rex Holt

"Brit Hume was asked about his Sunday comments about Tiger Woods needing what the Christian faith offers - redemption and forgiveness. He explained, "He needs something that Christianity especially provides and gives and offers, and that is redemption and forgiveness". He concluded with this piece of advice, "I think that Jesus Christ offers Tiger Woods something that Tiger Woods badly needs."

Or, it could be said, Jesus Christ offers Cathy & Paul something that Cathy & Paul badly needs.

"As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector's booth. "Follow me," he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.  While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew's house, many tax collectors and "sinners" came and ate with him and his disciples. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and 'sinners'?" On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."   Matthew 9:9-13

Because of your prayers, God continued to make His presence known in our lives. We serve an awesome & loving God. Please be patient with us, we are a work in progress and God hasn't finished with us, yet. When we error, let us know and with God's help we will make things right.

Living in His grace,
    Cathy & Paul
