The visitors who come to my website have lots of questions for me about their dogs, now I have a question for you? Is life overwhelming for you? At times do you feel like there is no hope? Are you surrounded by people, but yet feel so very alone? I know of some positive alternatives that will make a difference in your life.
First, you need to connect with "purpose driven" people. Get involved with a church. Be pro-active, not just a Sunday morning pew warmer. They need you as much as you need them.
Next, search for a Christian radio station in your area. Don't roll your eyes like that. You might just be surprised. You will find answers to life's challenges, be spiritually fed each day, and kept informed on issues concerning our communities, our nation and the world.
Here are just a few examples of the Christian stations available to you by radio and Internet. If one doesn't tickle your fancy, try another one.
Most importantly, you need to know that Christianity is not a religion. It is a personal relationship with the one and only, true and living, God. God loves you so much that He gave His Son Jesus to die for your sins. There is nothing you have done that God can't forgive. Salvation is a free gift to you from God through His Son, Jesus Christ.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not of your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boost. - Ephesians 2:8-9
....but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 6:23b
Jesus said to him, " I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." - John 14:6
Oneness with God begins by reponding in faith. We must individually receive Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. Only then can we know God personally and experience His love and power.
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. - John 1:12
You can, right now, begin a relationship with God by praying a prayer like this:
Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I am seperated from You. Please forgive me. I receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Please take control of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be. Amen.
Welcome to the family of God!!
